If Kansas loses, that would be very interesting. Not likely, as I think they’ll recover soon, but they are being outplayed right now. Interesting. Bracket busting. This tournament has been a real rollercoaster this season, as opposed to say, last year. ---

KU losing screws me in one bracket (I had them as National Champs), but in my homer bracket where Ohio State takes it all (the one where I was actually doing better) I just got a HUGE break. Plus, as a Buckeye fan, I think I need to send these fuckers a thank-you card. ---

Also, there’s been talk that Washington was a bit insulted by their low seeding. Apparently, they’re trying to prove all the naysayers wrong today by laying down quite the asskicking. ---

What a game. Kansas was my national champion, but I don’t care. That was awesome. UNI, Tennessee, Washington, and Cornell were ridiculously underseeded, and all of them are getting their revenge so far. ---

Missouri can’t hit the basket today. Looks like W V has it. Anderson has to work on the teams shooting. They usually do better than this. 9 of 17 free throws isn’t going to cut it. ---

Wow. Michigan State earned that win. Allen out. Lucas out with a minute to go in the first half. Morgan lost half a tooth. Maryland’s press was a real struggle with Lucas gone. ETA: and they get Northern Iowa next. Be a lot of interest in that game. Hope they get some players back. ---

Still glad to see my Alma Mater kicking ass and taking names. Of course, this is the only year they’ve EVER done it, but still. Go Cornell! I think they have a much tougher task ahead of them in Kentucky, but if anyone is playing good enough to pull the upset, it’s them. ---

Amazing first four days to this tournament. This is going to be very hard to top for the rest of this year, much less in a future tournament. I like this: there are eight Sweet Sixteen matchups, and only one of them is chalk - Duke vs. Purdue. And Purdue needed OT today and was widely expected to lose early because they don’t have their star player. The game of the day has to be MSU-Maryland. What a finish!
