# NCIS question: What is up with Sean Murray's voice?

Last weekend I saw an episode of NCIS from early in the show’s run and I was surprised to see how much Sean Murray’s voice has changed. He sounds much different now than in the first few seasons. Anybody know why?

I don’t know, but starting this season, it always seems every time he speaks he sounds like he’s about to burst into tears.
