I remember we had another thread about people intervening if they saw a man and woman arguing loudly (or a man yelling at a woman) and someone posted a [youtube.com](http://youtube.com) link of a scenario where a woman seemed to be physically abusing a man and a lot of observers thought it was no big deal or that the man deserved it. (Whereas people ended up calling the police when they thought they saw a man abusing a woman.) ---

Of course more men abuse women than vice versa, they’re the stronger sex. But there are plenty of violent wives out there too. Men aren’t _always_ at fault in these situations. ---

Okay, okay, **Diogenes the Cynic** , at this point you’re just contradicting yourself, making absolute assertions and then immeditely flip-flopping, and, uh… well, it looks like somebody needs either a Xanax or a nap. (And it might be me!) In any event… your buttons are so easy to push, and you have so many of them, that me carrying on with you any further would be a waste of my time and, frankly, perhaps just a wee bit trollish. I mean, with just the slightest poke you fume and sputter like a cranky old steam engine. It’s funny, don’t get me wrong, it just gets old after a while and doesn’t really accomplish anything. Obviously you aren’t up for honest debate or a frank and open exchange of ideas, so I’m going to stop trying now. Toodles!! ---
