Mom is just bucking for free stuff. I had a grandmother like that. To her dying day, we couldn’t convince her that my niece, who has absent seizures, wasn’t just daydreaming. She didn’t know anything about epilepsy, so it didn’t exist. Racism might be part of that, I suppose. ---
