Just a one-time bump to say: _yes! Please come sign up!_ The game is themed around the ludicrously difficult video game “Dark Souls;” it’s going to have a large number of factions, modular powers, inter-player private messaging, a limited economic system, and just general chaos everywhere. But we need at least 25 players or so for this to be even remotely viable.

The color’s just color. Not knowing anything about the game won’t put you at a disadvantage, and knowing the color won’t grant any kind of advantage.

The only thing I know about Dark Souls is the tagline: “Prepare To Die”.
Which seems to fit Mafia just fine…I’m in 🙂

I didn’t ask about advantage or disadvantage; I asked about fun. If I were playing Mafia for the sake of winning, I’d have given up long ago. It just seems like not being familiar with the flavor might be less fun, especially since the flavor is the big draw of a **Storyteller** game.

I think the fact that Storyteller always makes fun games is a major draw. I’ve never played Dark Souls and I’m in. I assume it will be a riot.
Go read what he’s posted already. It sound like an unusual game, not just your typical mafia game. That makes me interested as well.
Chronos, it’s a pretty good lineup of players, too. You should join.
