The worst part is that the penalty will be so out of proportion to the crime. Our lawmakers never had to think about making a law for so heinous a crime. Makes me wish Christianity were right for once, just so these bastards would get the punishment they really deserve. Those poor, poor parents! ---

I wonder how long it takes before the legislature extends the law against child molestation to include corpses. Who thinks of doing stuff like this? And how the hell do they get jobs transporting bodies? ---

Umm, folks? I agree that this was gross, disrespectful of the dead, and just generally all around awful, but surely you arenā€™t suggesting by your calls for ā€œno punishment great enoughā€ and all that this is anything like worse than or even comparable to the molestation of LIVE 4-year-old child? As dreadful as it is to contemplate how nasty and disgusting what these people did was, they didnā€™t actually harm a living soul. Yes, they basically caused nightmares for her family, but stillā€¦it was a dead body, not a person. ---

**stoid** , I understand what youā€™re saying, but it seems to me, as the father of a toddler, that the hurt done to the _parents_, who were already grieving, is just so inhumane and depraved as to defy belief. ---

Stoid, why bother trying to quanitify the level nastiness? Itā€™s a fucking perverted and sick thing, no matter what. Iā€™m sorry but this just turns my stomach. There are some fundamentalist christians in this world, who would probably put the people that sexually abused this dead girl, on the same level as prostitutes. Now that is fucked up morality. ---

I was reading a thread in which someone expressed a view that child molesters are no worse than prostitutes. That kind of thing just gets me furious. Adding that comment here was inappropiate though, and Iā€™m sorry about that. ---

Itā€™s completely disgusting but much more common than one would think. When my Fiance was in medical school there was someone in the morgue at the hospital that would charge men who wanted to look at the dead bodies of young women. ---
