Can anybody recommend a quick and dirty app that can pop up a reminder on screen each day at a pre-determined time?

I’m covering a co-worker who is away and need to remember to do a certian job each day at a certain time.

I don’t need a full calendar suite or anything complex at all. Just something to tell me it’s 11 am and to go do this job.

I use [Kana Reminder](http://kanasolution.com/index.php?i=55) for this, a little freebie app which sits in the system tray. I’m sure there are plenty of others, but it works fine for me.

Or you could use Windows’ built-in scheduler. Create a text file with the reminder in it, and schedule the command **notepad _\<path to file\>_** to run every day.

I use Kirby Alarm. Too lazy to find a link.

If the PC already has Outlook, then bing, bang, boom you’re all set.
