This sounds like an office holiday gift exchange or similar. In my experience with way too many work parties, whenever there is a “white elephant” style exchange, the stuff that gets taken/stolen the most is alcohol or food. So I’d go for a bottle of wine or seasonal booze and, if that’s not an option due to [reasons] then some seasonal snack like coated pretzel sticks or similar. ---

If you search “white elephant gifts for adults” on Amazon, you’ll find many suggestions. One that I liked; one of those electric massage guns. A friend has a really nice one that costs hundreds but there are cheaper (probably Chinese-manufactured) ones for around twenty bucks. No idea whether they’re as good or will last but they’d fit the budget. ---
