Moderators: I’m going to NYC to audition for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? I’ll need a place to crash for two nights. I’d like to start a MPSIMS thread about this to see if any Dopers want to house me. However, I don’t want to violate board policy. Can I get a ruling? ---

Odd, I’m just now seeing this, and I have been to the board quite a few times since your original post. In any event, yes, isn’t that what friends are for, to let you crash on their couch when you’re in town? This goes double for NYC, where it’s a young fortune for a night at a hotel. Go on, start your thread, ask up. Please put in the thread that you asked permission in advance and we said it was okay. Good luck on your quest. your humble TubaDiva
