# Need a Touch iPod Charger but I don't know...

…the right one(s) to select from - at amazon.
Seems Generation is important and since I got mine as a present, I don’t know what Generation iPod I own… What’s more, many moons later, we found it didn’t hold a charge so my son returned it and got a new one in exchange.
On the back it says it’s an 8GB unit. Does that identify its Generation? If yes, might there be a suitable charger at

If it has a built-in speaker and volume control buttons on the side, it’s 2G. Otherwise, it’s the first-generation Touch.
