Well, quite honestly the reason a lot of things get said over there and not here is because attempts to say such things here result in thread closures and warnings. No one likes to be warned or have their discussions stopped, and after a while it’s deemed wiser to take the discussion elsewhere. As I’ve said on countless occasions I think it’s a great shame and to the detriment of the board. But really. Why waste your hate on what’s said elsewhere? Or, if it does bother you, come on over and say so. It’s a pretty welcoming place. You’ll likely be cheered on some. I know our Pit mod for one would love at least one thread that doesn’t devolve into a group hug and cuddly puppies. Now, I’m not saying that’s the case in this instance; he seemed pretty pleased he got Pitted, just wished said Pitting was less laem. ---

You’re a bigger asshole, Bucketyfuck. I don’t say anything over there that I don’t say here, except I’m hamstrung by stupid rules about the specific words I’m allowed to use. I can’t really say what I think of you because I’ll run afoul of the rules. I use the same login name there as I use here, so I’m not hiding from anyone, either. All the messing about with new pit rules was a clusterfuck, no doubt about it. But I still believe that if something is to be said about here, then here is the place to say it. To me that just seems more..honest, for want of a better word. Flip things around. What if I started a thread here, stating I thought the Giraffe board was a boring chat room run by a bunch of wankers. Then I go to a thread there about, say, Fenris, in which my opinion was that he was a useless mod who should be put down for his own good. I would be told to fuck off and rightly so. The intention behind my posting would be questioned, and rightly so. Post in both places as you wish. But as TubaDiva said, don’t use here as a place just to “snipe and annoy”, especially if you then run back there to laugh about it. (As for the Giraffe board, I have no problem with it whatsoever. I do feel that to really get something from it, you need to have a greater level of involvement than I have the time for. It seems to be a much closer community than here, perhaps due to its relatively young age. And for those watching along in Tacos celebration thread, I don’t believe he is a persistant critic of the mods, I just think he is an asshole) ---

That’s why I’m trying to be less of an asshole than I was in my earlier post. I have no issue with you other than the whole \*\*\*\*\*\*\* board thing. It’s okay to say it.
