# Need Answer Fast! Are genies required to tell you that you can't wish for more wishes?

I would, I could always pay some poor nation’s corrupt dictator to officially mint 1/1000 cent coins. But the story makes clear that the imp will find ways to screw you over, and somehow misery will come your way after you resell the bottle.

I wish I had a really good answer for you … uh, you know, in the general sense, not in the I’m-ready-to-use-one-of-my-wishes way.
