I realize, for somebody living in the warm southlands of Chicago, that might look ridiculous, but that’s a pretty standard number of layers for a lot of people in the Twin Cities.
One of the reasons I left.

I just assumed it was a classic case of someone trying to demonstrate to their friends that Dopers can solve any problem, if you put the magic words “Need answers fast” in the subject.
