Throwing a Hawaiian themed party and need to create a mix CD for background music. It will be a light-hearted affair so I don’t need authentic music, although that would work too. I’m even open to Hawaiian novelty songs. My only restriction is they need to be fairly dance-able. What cha got? ---

[Let’s Talk Dirty In Hawaiian](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siuxtvEndLE), by John Prine. Maybe a _little_ risqué if it’s gonna be a bunch of children at the party, but it’s certainly lighthearted. Plus, sweeeeeet Hawaiian style pedal steel. ---

How about _Hawaiian War Chant_? I like the Tommy Dorsey version, but there are many others. There’s also _Pearly Shells_. There are a lot of versions on Amazon - the one by Randy Lorenzo sounds pretty good. ---
