Looking for movie about a girl who agrees to house sit an old person. The parent people tell her not to go upstairs. She calls her best friend over. The parent people come home. They tell her the grandparent upstairs is the devil (?). Or houses evil. Seems like bs but in the end… ---

Sounds a bit like Burnt Offerings. Folks rent a house for the summer at a great rate, and all they have to do is look after the old lady in the attic who they never see. They become enthralled with the house and its rich furnishings, despite the bad things that are happening. ---

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I cannot in good conscious let my asking about this movie waste someone else’s time. The Inside #9 version was great - The movie House Of The Devil was just about the worst movie I’ve ever seen. How drek like this gets greenlit is a mystery to me. ---

Inside No 9 does have some brilliant episodes. The Christmas special the other day, which also had a horror theme, was great. ---
