I’ve been having trouble sleeping. Several times in the last few weeks I’ve woken up around 2 or 3 and watched this really funny animated cartoon. First, let me apologize for the lack of details, but I’m only half awake when I’ve seen it. The main character is a young boy in school. He has siblings (I think). He has orange hair swept straight back. He mumbles (or is insecure). His gym teacher has appeared in all the episodes I’ve seen (drinking usually involved). I have worn out search and wiki. ---

what channel was it on? after you find that out, look up the broadcaster and their schedule. Find out the show name. ---

use this if you are in the states. [http://www.tv.com/listings/index.html?tag=container;show\_listings](http://www.tv.com/listings/index.html?tag=container;show_listings) I think it gives full listings of shows on air currently. You need to know your TV provider and more. ---

If you have even the smallest interest in heavy metal, I really suggest checking out Brendon Small’s (the creator of _HM_) other cartoon masterpiece, _Metalocalypse_. Completely different from _Home Movies_ in every way, but equally hilarious (if you don’t hate it right off the bat). Coach McGuirk is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, and if you watch adult/prime time cartoons at all, you have heard his voice before. He’s had recurring roles on _Family Guy, Venture Brothers, Lucy: Daughter of the Devil, ATHF_, and is currently doing the voice of the main character on that new FX cartoon, _Archer_. I’m (obviously) a fan. Basically, if either Brendon Small or H. Jon Benjamin are involved, I’m interested. ---
