Oh, there’s a dog name. Ngaio is pronounced Nigh-O. Great call name. How would you spell it though? Ngaio maybe, but you could go with Naiyo, or Niyo, or . . . ---

Gotta go with Croc. Crocodile Dundee, Crocodile Hunter, saltwater croc, etc… Then when you’re out in the yard cleaning up his business you can call him a Croc o’ shit. I was going to also suggest Foster so that when he pees you can say, “Look! Foster’s making more beer.” But I see that joke has been alluded to already. Mate seems to mean “friend” down under and I’m guessing he’ll be your friend as well, but that might not be the best name when you’re wandering around the neighborhood looking for him. “Mate! Come here Mate!” ---
