Op 6. Include Michael Jordan for 1984/92 gold and Space Jams, although basketball does not qualify as a martial art.
This one can’t be possible, he was a child actor as a baby.
I tried to track it down, but the main opponent is a redneck from Alabama. It’s highly unlikely he had capoeria training, unless somebody has the dvd or link to a clip where I could see it.
In general, capoeria is defined by the “ginga,” a very distinctive dance before fighting starts.
I’m not trying to be condescending. Sorry if it appeared so.
Edit: although it would be a breakthrough if it were true. No US capoeria ever existed before the Mighty Quinn.
I’m going to watch Only the Strong again, which features Amen Santo who also did Kickboxer 4, but I would recommend Lateef Crowder in The Protector (e.g Tom Yoong Goong) for heavyweight style capoeria. Santo also trained Mark Dacascos in Only the Strong, and appears in the final scene. He is the heavyset man Mark trips and they share a laugh.
I’m going to close this as it seems all you’re doing is replying to yourself.
While that isn’t against the rules, per se, what is is that whenever someone else does engage you in discussion, you seem to get snarky and insulting to them.
That is against the rules here and if you continue to do it, you will get warned eventually. Enough warnings and you’ll be banned.
So please, don’t get off on the wrong foot. Read and take this as a learning experience.
