Need intelligent questions for B.B. King interview

I was at an audience Q&A with actor James Marsters (hottie!) once, and he was asked a similar question, “What do you want us to know about you that no one’s ever asked?”

He was silent for about a half minute (LONG time during a Q&A!), and then told her it was the worst question to ever ask a performer. It’s just about guaranteed to make them very self-concious and derail the whole interview. Because, he said, everything he wants to share with his fans is in his performances. If he wanted to share his private thoughts and feelings, he’d have become an editorial writer.

I thought that was very interesting, and really revealed more about him than any other question - which was, I guess, the whole point. The reasons why he thought it was a bad question made it the best question of the night!

Ah, but you see, as I worded it, it was what question did he wish he *had * been asked! I don’t see how that would make him self-conscious or uptight… just grateful, perhaps, for the opportunity to come clean.
