Also… here are some comments about the problem with re-appplying given by disability attorneys on their websites:

From [here:](http://www.jtashlaw.net/social-security-disability.html)

> [@](#):
>
> If your application for Social Security Disability is denied, do not reapply. This is a common mistake made by applicants for disability benefits. Instead, you should file an appeal. In addition, it is advisable to seek the services of a qualified Social Security Disability Lawyer who can guide you through the disability appeals process. Represented cases often have a much higher chance of winning than those that are not represented. A qualified Social Security Disability attorney can also help you recover past due benefits.

[Here’s](http://www.disabilitysecrets.com/question7.html) another:

> [@](#):
>
> Amazingly, most disability claims that are denied are not appealed. Claimants either give up on the process, or file a appeal too late, or file a brand new claim (a mistake). A failure to appeal timely or filing a brand new claim will have the same end result: a loss of appeal rights and having to start over at the very beginning with a new Social Security Disability or SSI application.

And [one more](http://www.socialsecuritydisability.tv/how-to/appeal-social-security-disability-denial):

> [@](#):
>
> Many applicants make one of two mistakes after receiving a notice of denial from the SSA. Some will give up hope of receiving the disability benefits they so desperately need. Others will just try to re-apply for Social Security Disability benefits all over again. Neither of these choices is wise.

I know you already appealed once, but there are at least 4 different levels of appeals so when the above cites say “appeal” they are referring to _all_ the appeals levels–not just the first one.

Remember—it might not be too late to pursue the first application instead of the second. Again, good luck.

Thank you. I’ll look into it tomorrow.

SUCCESS!!

Lawyer 1 agreed and sent it, lawyer 2 got it, and lawyer 2 has taken her back on!

I feel a little ridiculous now for how worked up about it I was, given how relatively easy it was to resolve. Ah well. Much better to feel ridiculous afterwards than proven right in doomsday scenarios, I suppose.

Thank you everyone!
Oh, and it’s too late to carry on with application 1, **I Love Me**. Time limit’s run out. Thank you for trying, though.
