Many applicants make one of two mistakes after receiving a notice of denial from the SSA. Some will give up hope of receiving the disability benefits they so desperately need. Others will just try to re-apply for Social Security Disability benefits all over again. Neither of these choices is wise.

I know you already appealed once, but there are at least 4 different levels of appeals so when the above cites say “appeal” they are referring to all the appeals levels–not just the first one.

Lawyer 1 agreed and sent it, lawyer 2 got it, and lawyer 2 has taken her back on!

I feel a little ridiculous now for how worked up about it I was, given how relatively easy it was to resolve. Ah well. Much better to feel ridiculous afterwards than proven right in doomsday scenarios, I suppose.
