Title pretty much says it all. I didn’t see any specific prohibition in the rules lists. Basically, I want to offer a finder’s fee to anyone who can provide a link, postal address or other reference to any source of a near-impossible to obtain/ nonexistent item I wish to acquire. My own researches have come up utterly empty, so I am certain this would not be trivially easy to locate. ---

Heck, there are posters here who do this for free every day. I truly don’t think the money aspect will get you any better results. Why not just post away? ---

Yes, you can post your thread asking for help – and offering a finder’s fee. Please mention early in the thread that permission was asked for and received in advance. I’ll let the other mods know about this as well in case they don’t see this thread. If you are in doubt as to the fitness of a subject for the board you are always better off asking permission in advance – much better to ask for permission than forgiveness. 🙂 We prefer to handle these requests via email.
