Well, I was about to jump in and say\* Never Let Me Go _or_ The Island\*, but it seems I was well and truly beaten to it! The Island was 2005, though, so it sounds like _Never Let Me G_o is the one you were thinking of. _The Island_ had an island, though! ---

Also _Parts: The Clonus Horror_, the MST3K classic \*The Island \*was [strike]a shameless rip-off of[/strike] inspired by. – Possibly the last movie to have Schlitz as a plot point. ---
