I’m interested in creating some very low-fi animation and would appreciate recommendations for the software I should use. The style would be similar to South Park but less elaborate—really not much more complicated than [this sample I created](http://youtu.be/_UFot7KyAgk). I would particularly like to be able to automate the mouth movements. I’m on a Mac and am willing to purchase the software. Thanks. ---

You might try [Pencil](http://www.pencil-animation.org/) - it’s free. ---
