Over the last several years I have developed pretty bad insomnia. Something that seems to help is watching funny videos on youtube on my phone as I wait for my meds to kick in. I have some favs I turn to over and over, but would love to have more options to try. Youtube is best because my phone is old and often videos from other sites won’t play on my phone. Things I watch now include Key & Peele, Jim Gaffigan, Louie C.K., Kat Williams, Jimmy Fallon #hashtags and Thank You Notes, Craig Ferguson, Honest Trailers, College Humor. I like Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Other short-format interview stuff would be interesting to me. Just not anything that takes any brain power. I like John Green’s stuff, just not for this purpose, for example. I don’t like Funny Or Die. Or Sarah Silverman or Amy Schumer which is weird because I by rights I should. My friends are confused by this. 🙂 What do you like? ---

I watch “QI” on YouTube and very much enjoy it. Give it a try! (British panel show, “Quite Interesting”) ---

I tend to end up watching cat videos and game-related parodies, rather than comedians. Since that’s probably not quite what you’re looking for, I only have one offering: [Dad at Comedy Barn](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4Y4keqTV6w) There’s a comedian in it, but he’s not the source of the funny. ---

[http://www.youtube.com/user/ImprovEverywhere](http://www.youtube.com/user/ImprovEverywhere) for videos alone, [http://improveverywhere.com/](http://improveverywhere.com/) for their main site. “We cause scenes.” ---

Search for "Just for Laughs gags"on YouTube, which is a series of harmless pranks on everyday people. There’s no talking involved, (just a background laugh track) so you don’t even need to “listen” and just get to mindlessly watch funny reactions. ---

A cat in a shark suit riding on a zoomba while being pursued by a duck is pretty awesome. So is the talking dog in this one: [Ultimate Dog Tease - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGeKSiCQkPw) “Yeah, the maple kind?” cracks me up every time. And then there’s the South Park bit about viral videos and making money off them if you can find it…aha! Poor quality but still hysterical: [Internet stars - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSKG1JRXyk4) ---

If you’re a movie fan at all, Honest Trailers are a must! ---

If you’re cool with reading subtitles, or if you speak French, check out [Parole de Chat](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnrhy622SNPt04Avj5idFIg). I don’t know if [Epic Rap Battles of History](https://www.youtube.com/user/ERB) are brainless enough for you, but they might be worth a shot. [This trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-80SGWfEjM) is hilarious. [This one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09nTwccQTUA) is pretty funny, too. ---

Anything by Miranda Sings. She did an episode of Seinfeld’s _Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee_ that killed. ---

Oh, also anything from _The Smothers Comedy Brothers Hour_, especially _Boil That Cabbage Down_. You’ll never think of pumas the same way again, I guarantee it. ---

The Bad Lip Reading videos make me cry with laughter. Sorry, I’m on my phone so I can’t link, but you’ll find them with a search. ---

I like the “How It Should Have Ended” series. Their take on superhero movies are especially funny. ---

Another vote for Honest Trailers (Honest Game Trailers are fun too if you have a video game streak in you) I’m going to throw out [Literal Music videos](https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=literal+music+video) too. Total Eclipse of the Heart is awesome, so is the Meatloaf song I can’t remember right now Did you know Mystery Science Theater 3000 has an [official channel?](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFzph9x-n9FR52BI94Zfgww) They do and they have some full movies (with annotations!) and A LOT of their skits
