# Need some help

I have entered a story in a contest. The winner gets a contract with Simon & Schuster. While winning might be a bit of a long shot it would be nice to get some constructive feedback (and . . . uh . . . you know any spare 8, 9, or 10 ratings you might not be using at the moment.)  
If you would, go to [gather.com](http://gather.com) At the top of the page there is a white space for search items. Enter “India Company.” My story will about the third item down.  
You will only see the first chapter. If you would rate it and perhaps make a comment or two it would be appreciated.  
If you would like to look at some of the other entries, and there are some very good ones, click on the First Chapter icon right below the title of my book.

Normally, we don’t permit self-advertising on these boards. However, we do make exceptions for the creative arts, since we want to encourage folks.

And, **Sandy** , people may rank your story but not necessarily comment here. However, you’ve had your bump: we only allow one. If people don’t want to reply, they won’t reply.
