I am looking for an out-of-print book titled **Science Made Stupid** by a Mr. Weller. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve tried eBay, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.
Thank you.

One site has exerpts from the book, and the other lists it as out of print. What I need is an actual copy of the book for a friend’s birthday present. Thanks for the search, though. I could download what is on the site, but I have too much respect for the rights of stuggling authors to start _that_ bad habit.

How much time do you have before the birthday? If it’s day after tomorrow, oops.
OTOH I’ve bought out of print books from Amazon. Since they’re dealing with independants who may have out-of-date lists this may take a few weeks, but IN MOST CASES they’ve been able to come through.

Dang, normally I’d recommend a trip to [Alibris.com](http://Alibris.com), but I checked and all they have is a copy of _Minims_ (also by Tom Weller - now if you wanted a copy of _that_, you could have mine cheap!).

I did find CVLTVRE MADE STVPID using [Bibliofind](http://www.bibliofind.com). You can sign up to be notified if the title you’re looking for comes in.

Have you considered giving it as a Christmas present instead?

It’s o.k., I’ve still got a couple of months to find it. I haven’t had this much fun since trying to fing a copy of Allan Sherman’s _The Rape Of The A.P.E._! 🙂

You could try [Half.com](http://www.half.com). They don’t have a current listing for it, but if you put it on your wish list, they’ll let you know when/if a copy becomes available. They will also search online retailers for it if you request.

> [@](#):
>
> **What if no one is selling the items that I want at [Half.com](http://Half.com)?**
>
> If the item is not in our inventory, you have two fantastic options!
> First, you can add it to your Wish List. The Wish List allows you to specify the price and quality for the item you are looking for. We will send you an email as soon as the item becomes available.
>
> You can also shop for a new copy of the item you want. We search leading online retailers to find out what they are charging for the item. We also provide you with a direct link to buy it. Check out the “Buy It New On The Web” box on each product page.

I’ve had very good luck with [http://www.bibliofind.com](http://www.bibliofind.com) and no luck at all with amazon’s out of print service. Did you try looking on Ebay too?

See also [www.powells.com](http://www.powells.com).

They don’t have it now, but have lots of stock and keep turning it over.
