# Need turn based strategy game suggestions, Not Steam please

I don’t know if it’s turn based, but there was at [thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/rimworld-old-west-meets-sci-fi/730244/57) about Rimworld that got me interested, and it’s on [GoG.com](http://GoG.com)

and I’ve had a metric ton personally with FrostPunk, which I play via steam but is also available on GoG.

And my ultimate previous timewaster, was the Galactic Civilization series (I play/played 2 and 3) also available on GoG (1 & 3)
