I’ve been lurking for a long time (though I’ve made a couple of inconsequential posts). And, I have to admit, one of my guilty little pleasures has always been searching the “recent posts” categories for N2K’s general inanities. My introduction to her was a thread she initiated a while ago, and I’m sorry, I tried to find it but could not, in which she called out the entire board because it was not (as she absolutely knew without having to demonstrate) dedicated to fighting ignorance at all because the debate and repartee did not conform to her own notions of what the truth is. I beg everyone’s pardon, including N2K’s, for the paraphrase based on memory, but the gist was: for a site dedicated to fighting ignorance, there sure are a lot of morons posting here. Great stuff!

I have to say, from a Canadian perspective, Jenna’s hijinks are quite interesting and amusing (heck, a legal drinking age of 21 is pretty amusing - Canada has a legal drinking age of 18 or 19, depending on the province). And Needs2know feels that the fact that this girl is drinking at an age where she would have been in bars for a year legally in Alberta is some kind of tragic flaw in the Bush family? Somebody Needs2getalife.

And it IS, IMO, as damning as any JDT thread as far as the dumbass category, yet she has gotten this far. But those present certainly called her out on it, and my search of her activity indicates that she is more or less ignored by most of you (though once in awhile somebody with reasonably sypathetic views gives her the time of day). Seems as if the freethinking market is prevailing, which is good news.
And it’s no surprise that Daisy Yokum with an attitude (a.k.a. Needs2Know) hasn’t bothered to show up in this thread. Chalk up being gutless as one more of her traits.
If you go to one of those churches that uses real wine for communion, and you take communion there before you’re 21, does that count as Underage Drinking?
