Damn, hell of a drummer, and really a damn good lyricist (hey, you can’t rule the Earth in every facet you endeavor). One of my favorite sets of lyrics by him was [The Spirit of Radio](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPBinohXHLc). Yeah, this is probably hitting me harder than I expected. I’m a 12 year old nerdy bass player/Rush fan deep down inside. ---

Damn, not only was Rush one of my favorite groups, but one my Brother and I shared a common liking for, and went to concerts many times over the years. [while I am sad my brother is dead, I am glad he is not around to get this news.] ---

How do most people pronounce Peart? I’ve always said “pert,” and CTV agrees, however two CBC news people have now said “peert.” ---
