Ugh, **Bean Shadow** , I hope you get tortured by a herd of Aishas (or something) for getting me addicted to this. Already my Neopet is almost as spoiled as my real pet (and that’s saying a lot). I’ve also turned into a neopoint miser. I can’t even play Wheel of Excitement anymore, because I can’t stand parting with the 100 neopoints. This is my daily routine: 1. Feed pet. 2. Pet keeps asking for pizza. I then go try to buy as much pizza as possible. 3. Play tombola (what am I going to do with all these peas?) 4. Play fruit machine (and I never win) 5. Play Swarm, which must be the most boring game ever, because it is like Space Invaders if all the space invaders were on high doses of cold medicine, BUT you can get up to 1000 points a day for essentially doing nothing. 6. Hit Kiko Match a few times, to get the points. 7. _New_ play Deckswabbers, which moves more slowly than Swarm (something I had not thought possible) because I want those d\*mn dubloons. 8. Play Kacheek Seek, which is _awful_ to admit, but my pet keeps asking to play Kacheek Seek, and I feel bad telling him no. So off we go, to a game designed for 7 year olds. 9. Play Sakhmet Solitaire, which is hardly ever worth the 50 neopoints it costs, but I enjoy it. Same with the Pyramid Game. 10. Visit bank, collect interest, deposit daily winnings. ---

I love Neopets. I blame my little brother. We were having our annual sister/brother bonding night (in other words, he gets online and shows me all the stuff he wants to buy…ah, well) and he dragged me into signing up. My username is odyssygrrl, if anybody wants to add my name. Anyway, I go in everyday and feed my pets and play the stupid target game. I’m so much better at the moving target than the stationary one. Sad, really. I also play Swarm, just because it fulfills that desire to shoot things. jessica, who is off making her neopet rounds as she types ---

I had bought a whole bunch of food that he won’t eat, so I left it all at the money tree. Actually, now that I think about it, he will sometimes eat the omelette, but I get the “choke choke” response. How did Neopets know that I would actually indulge the picky little .gif? ---

My pets seem to think I’m the perfect owner. Hmm…I smell a cospiracy amongst them. Maybe they’re sucking up and then one day, _WHACK_ Just kidding. Ever since I got them PetPets, they never complain about toys. But I swear, those Neopets are eating better than I am! Mmmm…Kau Milkshake ---

I _think_ it’s random. They will occasionally refuse food, and they’ll ask for more food (or something to drink) when their stats say they’re clearly not hungry. Also they will sometimes refuse to read a particular book and will never be willing to read it, if you try again later. And my Aisha, for example, _hates_ being brushed. I just think the “yuck!” faces they make are hilarious, although the angry faces they make for the books they don’t like (also seen in the Cheat! game) are kind of disturbing. ---

My pets have never asked for certain foods, but they do like to shop, play games, and try to guilt me into buying them more toys, which they don’t need because they have PetPets. If they don’t like a food today, save it. They’ll eat it in a couple of months or so. ---

I know. I have four Neopets, and three of them have PetPets, including the one you gave me, **Arden**. I got another Neopet a few weeks ago and I got her her own PetPet. I suppose it wasn’t “stupid”…I shouldn’t have let the points burn a hole in my pocket. [hijack]Yay! This is my first thread to reach 2 pages! I’m normally a Thread Killer.[/hijack] ---

Great. One more 'net addiction–I signed up as “forcesinbalance” and joined the SD guild. I have a green lupe named “Waedd” (that’s pronounced “wayth”, BTW). I don’t really know what I’m doing yet, but Waedd hasn’t really placed many demands on me (besides wanting the toy from the newbie pack). I’ve mostly been wandering around, or winning points playing neggsweeper (it works reliably, and I’m good at minesweeper). I’ve got around 10,000 now. Oh, and sure enough, the stupid Earth faerie showed up to give me a quest–I don’t even know what a bubble mote _is_ yet, much less where to find it. Just my luck. I’ll probably go drop the quest. ---

Oh, that’s outdated information anyway! It used to be (before I played the site) that you could go and ask for a quest any time you wanted to, and if you refused the quest you were given the Faeries would punish you by not allowing you another quest for a while. Now the Faeries just show up at random, but they didn’t update the page. You’ll probably notice a few copyediting goofs here and there around the site. I think the Treasure Hunt page is similar.
