I am sure the cats would stage a revolt if we had regularly had tuna and no tuna juice was available for them. It would not be pretty. And I’m pretty sure the cats would win. :eek:
I’ve been eating Aldi’s canned tuna (in water), and it seems much more solid chunk than Chicken of the Sea or the other regular store brands. Not so much amorphous pre-masticated looking goo. And it’s 50 cents a can, or so. The cats won’t eat tuna or drink the juice, but the dogs will.
Last night I cooked chicken livers to entice the appetite of my congestive heart failure dog, and the cats all thought diced chicken liver was mighty fine. Except for Sabrina, who never likes meat.
