That’s great news! I really liked what they did with the Punisher in Daredevil, I think his own series could be really great. ---

YES! The Punisher was the best part of Season 2. I can’t believe how much I loved Jon Bernthal in that role. ---

It’s probably more accurate to say I hated his character though, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I would like him in something else. I very much liked him as Frank Castle. ---

He was fantastic, I agree, and my favorite part of Season 2 except for Fisk whom I adore beyond all measure. But I’m not sure I want to watch a series based on him. His brutality is both essential to his character and kind of hard to watch, and he works best for me in small doses. If they have multiple action sequences every episode that are Punisher levels of brutal, I’m worried I’d find the show unwatchable. ---

Yes, he’s a great character but takes anti-hero to a new level. I mean, he basically goes around murdering bad guys in cold blood. It’s going to be really tricky to make him someone to root for. He was great in DD and I want to see more of him, I just have a hard time imagining him carrying a show himself. Fingers crossed. ---

Considering the writer/executive producer of \*Hannibal \*is the showrunner, there should be plenty of blood and psychoses. ---

I agree, he is a character who could be too much if he has his own show, but Marvel has done very well with their movies and shows so far, adapting the different ones to the different characters, I have faith they can figure something out, and balance things out so it’s not too dark and grim. I’m guessing there will be at least one more semi-major Marvel character come on so it’s not just the Frank Castle show, just like Jessica Jones had Luke Cage and Daredevil and Elektra and the Punisher. ---

I don’t know what this show is going to be? What’s the engine? The Equalizer with more violence? The A-Team where the bullets actually hit people and they die?
