# Netflix ends its DVD-by-mail service

That’s a good question. I don’t know if the article I read was referring to titles or discs. They could easily have a thousand copies of one popular title…or one copy of a thousand obscure titles.

I think they have various copies of about 10,000 titles. At least at one point, they famously had tons of movies rather hard to find.

The first disc I had them send me was a Bollywood film made in 1965, “Gumnaam.” It had been referenced in an American film called “Ghost World” and I was curious to see it. To my surprise, they had it.

In all honesty, I expect the DVDs will eventually end up in some outlet store (online or brick-and-mortar) and sold at a massive discount.
