That was me. Normally I compose a post and then click the “close this thread after your post” or something like that so it happens simultaneously but with posts going quickly I preemptively locked it then composed my multiple responses. Plus I was using my phone so it’s harder to do things as quickly like having multiple tabs and hitting enter on them all in quick succession. ---

The thing is, the rule about insults does NOT say: Don’t insult other posters unless that poster has done something really, really awful. ---

Which is why I haven’t posted a thread objecting to the warning, or one begging for it to be rescinded. I \*have \*PMed the mod with some clarification on some stuff mentioned in the note and the warning, but I’m not saying mocking _isn’t_ a form of insult or anything. I’m just taking issue with **BigT** ’s “both sides” bullshit (both here and in the Pit thread, where I’ve been more…forthcoming).
