No and yes, sort of. The book makes it a little more clear what Pryce is up to, but there’s an open-ended mystery to the Ouroboros program which I imagine will be addressed in future seasons – Netflix has renewed it for a second season at least. The author of the novel has said he plans to make it a trilogy, so there are potentially two more seasons to be produced (though the sequel books have not as yet been published).
For what it’s worth, I found the novel an interesting read, but probably only because I’d seen the series first. It’s got the same general story line and characters, of course, but I found the writing a bit clunky. Had I not watched the series first I’m not sure I would have finished the book.
