Using TCP/IP port on Win XP Pro; the printer is unavailable for one reason or another. Sometimes the printer icon won’t delete. I’ve hunted through the registry and still can’t get rid of it. Very annoying to users.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks

Make sure that there aren’t any jobs left in the queue, restart the local print spooler service on the machine, then delete the printer.
