I thought this was a lot better than the last “Homer and Lisa try to reach an understanding episode” where they go through. . . gah! what’s that called? Sensory depravation? That doesn’t sound right, but you know what I mean, right? ---

Didn’t they do a Davy and Goliath rip-off before? In the Easter special maybe… And I thought Homer was dumb because of the Simpsons gene that only affects the male side of the family. “Continuity, what’s that??” 🙂 But still, good episode. If I wanted to be negative, I’d go to alt.tv.simpsons. ---

I wondered that too Survery. As a matter of fact, tonite was the first time I haven’t heard one. (The second time they have a Nuclear plant scene, when Homer is smart.) Maybe that’s because they were playing music. Was there any nasty jokes this episode? Or are they done pushing the censor’s buttons? ---

“Is there no place in the world for a man with a 105 IQ?” Maybe that line answers the continuity question. 105 equals genius in the Simpson family. I laughed so hard when Davey & Goliath appeared that I didn’t even hear the gag. I also thought the whole crayon up the nose thing was brilliant. My snooty Ghandi-Little-Women watching wife even chuckled. ---
