His credibility might be so shot with some people that they would never be able to take him seriously. Sure his reporting might look funny if you know he over acts in every event, but this time I’m not so sure you can over act. People are dieing and they are not getting help. Geraldo is doing exactly what I would want a reporter to be doing.

It was probably not a quid pro quo, but it is interesting that they started busing people out of the Superdome and the convention center not long after he held up that little kid and said, “This is the face of tragedy” or whatever his words were. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

It was an old story by the time Capt. Fantastic arrived. There had already been days of coverage on the horrible scenes at the Superdome and Convention Center.

I’m glad Geraldo–as obnoxious as he is–was there. Without him, Smith, and other reporters, most of America would go on thinking that FEMA et al. had everything under control.
Yeah, he was being dramatic. I would have been, too.
For once, Fox News was keepin’ it real.

Geraldo is fine when scripted in the studio. When he’s live, he is totally insufferable. He’s a drama queen, an attention whore and he never met any hyperbole he didn’t like.

If I keep seeing articles like these, it won’t be an alligator- it’ll be me in a green rubber suit. Call me Geraldozilla, friend of all journalists.
By the way, you guys gotta promise not to tell any cops about this post.
