Now, I did a search, and no one seems to have posted about [this](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fjxSoHgSN4) yet. CNN messed up the audio during Dubya’s Katrina anniversary speech, and Kyra Phillips unwittingly told the entire country that her sister-in-law is a control freak. It’s not all on her, of course, since she’s not the one who sent her mike feed out on the air. (I think; correct me if I’m wrong.) But still, when you’re wearing a mike, always assume that it’s on and people besides the person you’re talking to can hear you. ---

Of course she is such a control freak she’d probably interview you. ---

The media make a big deal out one of their own accidentally mouthing off into an open mike? Oh, shit no! That only happens to hapless politicians. If you’re a member of the monolithic liberal media, you get a pass, every time. ---

Considering that the mike was apparently on while she was in the bathroom, I think we should all count ourselves lucky that all we heard was a review of her family members, and not sounds a la Frank Drebbin from **The Naked Gun**. ---

You distinctly hear a zipper. What you don’t hear, thankfully, are any flushing (let alone, uh, pre-flushing) effects. Ladies, clue me. Would you have occasion to zip anything at, say, the washbasin? ---
