# Never Had Stage Fright--Is This Abnormal?

I’ve never had stage fright that I can recall and I’ve been an amateur actor since I was in high school. I’ve definitely felt excited and nervous before a show, but it’s never been debilitating.

On the other hand, I do have some social anxiety, sometimes I worry a lot about what I am going to say to a person to the point that I am scared to talk to them.

I’m another one with situational stage fright. Acting in a theatrical production? No problem. Public speaking before any group, large or small? No problem. Singing in an ensemble – even as small as a trio? No problem. Vocal solo of any sort – even if backed up by the whole choir? Playing piano in front of an audience – even an audience of one? PROBLEM! Scares me shitless.
