**I am a proud native of the USA.** **Well, since I have not seen the pacific ocean, there is a pretty good chance that I have not owned a home near the pacific ocean.** **I own a dedicated DVD player** , seldom use it though. **I have never changed a diaper.** ---

A person was either born in the U.S. or not, and therefore can list it as his or her birth country or not. It’s not quite the same as, say, changing a diaper, because there is no room for personal choice in the equation.
