FWIW, [we did this in 2011](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=635271). So I’m 49. And I have never… smoked anything. taken a recreational drug (other than alcohol). taken a prescription medicine. This includes pain killers. been in a vehicle wreck that was my fault. had anyone close to me die. broken a bone. owned an MP3 player. been in debt (other than a mortgage). been unemployed. been to a psychologist or psychiatrist. worn a watch. been to a beach. borrowed money from a friend, parent, or any other relative. received a tattoo or piercing. been on a cruise. eaten a tomato. worn jewelry (other than my wedding band). had major surgery. been downhill skiing. been to Mexico. been to Arizona, Vermont, South Carolina, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Guess I need to get out more. 😃 ---

I have never: been to a wedding (aside from working at the reception), used a credit card (I’ve technically owned one as my bank kept sending me them unsolicited), smoked a cigarette, or attended a professional sporting event without being paid to do so. ---
