His job was to determine if there was criminal stuff there. And, just as he said, his staff _unanimously_ agreed that there wasn’t. He was not tasked to make editorial comments about her behavior, but he chose to do so anyway. Given his staffs unanimity on the real question, he did as much partisan damage as he could get away with. > > The “dick pic” laptop stuff? I am always pleased to be able to answer a question at once and without hesitation: I haven’t the slightest idea. Cool reason is no help when the situation is barking mad. I have often known precisely what should happen, it never did. Likely because I have held unpopular political opinions since I started having them. There is great confusion under Heaven, and the situation bites it. ---
