All right, friends of mine who played NWN long ago (when it first came out) have recently re-installed it into their computers, and found much to their chagrin that they apparently cannot play the main scenario. One of them heard that this is due to the nature of the most recent patch disabling the scenario from those who have not bought the most recent expansion. This sounds assenine, but, unfortunately, totally possible. Is this the case? Does anyone know? And is there a way to get an older (pre-expansion) version of the patch that doesn’t hose the user like this? ---

You can get earlier patches direct from the [nwn.bioware website](http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch.html). ---

That is, patches just for the main game; not the expansions.
