Yes! In the current thread in IMHO about lost-lasting reliable products, [Brand names that have a reputation for long lasting goods](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/brand-names-that-have-a-reputation-for-long-lasting-goods/961047) , at least three people have posted about their 50+ year-old Tot Swingline staplers! (Maybe you were one of them?)
