$DEITY alone knows what’s going on in the heads of managers where I work. We’re going through a round of musical staff (move employee A to office Z, which requires employee B to move to office Y, which pushes employee C to office Epsilon, lather, rinse, repeat ad nauseam). Management almost seems to be TRYING to make commutes as much of a PITA as possible, and my (now former) boss is now training her THIRD newbie in about four or five months. Why manager J was moved from the office ten minutes from her home (which she chose specifically FOR a convenient location) to someplace halfway across an urban area that “boasts” horrendous traffic, I have no clue.
