Our Black & Decker Dustbuster just stopped working and we bought a new one. (I can’t even take the old one apart in the event that there’s a user serviceable problem that I might see.) The old one was a 14.4 v version. The new one is a 16 v version. I’m using the old charger for the new device, but I’m wondering if that should/could make any difference. I’m not sure how the new lithium batteries respond to the charger, if there is any caution I should take. I can’t see why it should be so, but ignorance has put me in trouble before. Thoughts?
