…I read one of the interviews Timm’s gave about this: they bought back Kevin Conroy (my favourite batman!) into the studio for a single line! (But then he said that he also read for a bigger batman part the same day, so excitement!) I’d love to see Timm and Dini back with a new Batman cartoon. If you listen to the DVD commentary you’ll learn that Boyd Kirkland was another key team member. Unfortunately he passed away in 2011. ---

No, it’s going to circle around on autopilot until the Batman needs it again, at which point he’ll climb back in and fly away. At least, that’s the way it usually worked in the comics of the period. ---

They think Nolan and Goyer are the ones for Serious Movies. The box office proves this out unfortunately. Just stack Mask of the Phantasm against any other Batman movie. But I agree, they’ve got the best take on the character. ---
