Actually the director for some of her videos is a guy named Gregory Dark (I think he directed “Oops…”) who… suprise! used to make pornos!!! I’m not sure if he directed this one but from the sound of it he damn sure did! ---

Caught the last half of the video last night. All in all, it was about what I expected. Although the semiclose-ups of her with the sweaty hair and the bare male shoulders around made me think of that alleged gangbang that you can see on various websites, and so that was appealing. ---

Downloaded the video. Listened to 5 seconds, muted the sound–the song is amazingly irritating. Same old, same old, as far as the rest of it goes. The belly-dancing was pretty good, though. 😃 Is it just me or is she starting resemble Christina Aguilera even more in this video? ---

Well, I saw it last night. I liked it. Liked the panting, liked the sweat. Had a beat and I could dance to it. Yah, the cakey makeup was fuuuuuu-nky and the g-string over the leather pants was a fashion mistake, but, eh, whatcha going to do? Funny thing is, I saw a little “interview” with her before video and she said it was about “music”. :rolleyes: Yah, sure, Brit. Makes perfect sense. ---

Now I think she’s cute, but overly toned and kind of desiccated looking, like beef jerky. ---

Britney Spears. Years ago, after seeing her for the first time in that music video where she’s dressed as a schoolgirl (is it “Baby, One More Time”?), my first thought was, wow, this is really pushing the measure of decency, I mean, this _grown woman_ is dressed up like a little girl and doing this provocative dance/song. And then, of course, my further shock to discover later that she **was** in fact under 18 at the time of that video.:eek: ---

Infidel, that’s exactly what comes to my mind! I never watch MTV, so I haven’t seen this video, and I don’t know if I ever will, but I personally don’t know how she could ever show something like what y’all are describing to her parents. I would be mortified beyond belief. ---

They stay in Louisiana while she and Mom go on tour – or, if not Mom, then Mom’s best friend who, I think, may also be her manager… Adding my own 2 cents worth here – on the one hand, it’s show business, plain and simple. The skimpy outfits and slutty dances are, after all, just acting. Nobody thinks Kevin Spacey is a psychotic killer because he played one in “Se7en,” no it’s not a big stretch to imagine that Britney Spears isn’t a slut just because she plays one on TV. She might be - I don’t know her - but her videos aren’t really evidence one way or the other.
